Lincoln is a destination site for a total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. The last time a total solar eclipse crossed the United States was on June 8, 1918. Most of us will not experience this again in our lifetime. The credit union would like to help make the eclipse a "green event" by offering to recycle your eclipse glasses. In exchange for you dropping off the glasses, we will enter you in a drawing for a chance to win an Amazon Echo. Eclipse glasses have no further use after the eclipse is complete and most of us will not see one of these events again, so why not drop by for a chance to win. All are welcome to participate - membership is not required. Recycling is in partnership with UNL Recycling and Nebraska Sustainability.
