Visa Credit and Debit Card Assistance Lines

- Cardholder assistance line: Is available during business hours by calling 402.472.2087, and after business hours you can receive assistance with transaction issues such as purchase declines by calling 1.800.472.3272.
- 24-hour card activation: 1.800.992.3808
- Real-time PIN change:1.800.992.3808, the change will be active within moments after you complete the call and a new card will not be necessary. You can also change your PIN using the MyCards feature in Online and Mobile Banking.
- Travel Notification: If you are planning on traveling out of state or out of the country, be sure to notify the University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union to protect your security and ensure no interruption of service or access to your account. Travel notes can be placed during business hours by calling 402.472.2087 or by stopping at any of our convenient locations at least 3 days prior to your travel date . You can also use the MyCards feature in Online and Mobile banking to place travel notes immediately.

Skip A Payment
Do you need extra money for a vacation this year or do you have other expenses and just need a vacation from your loan payment? Consider our Skip-A-Program which allows you to skip a payment once a year on your vehicle or personal loan. Simply click the button below and complete the form 10 days prior to your due date and you may be able to keep the cash you need.
To take a vacation from your loan payment you just need to pay a one-time fee of $25 to skip your upcoming loan payment.
Below are the eligibility requirements:
- Account must be in good standing
- Loan is 6 months or older
- One payment skipped per 12 months
- Loans eligible for this service include: unsecured-installment, new vehicle, used vehicle, RV, Visa and personal.
- Loan balance must be more than $500 or $1500 for Visa credit card.
Online Loan Skip-A-Pay Form
You are one step closer to having additional dollars in your pocket for the summer by skipping your loan payment. The security of your personal information is our top priority, which is why we use a secure service called Docusign for our skip-a-pay form. When you push on the "skip-a-pay" button a form will appear for you to complete. Once you hit "begin signing", Docusign will send you an email with a password to give you access to the skip-a-pay form. With Docusign, you will complete your form and then sign the form electronically. Once complete, the document will be sent encrypted to our member service officers to review. Now that you know what to expect, you just need to click the button below to start the skip-a-pay process.

Step 3: Stop at a branch, fax, or mail. The form must be received at the credit union at least 10 days prior to the date of the payment you wish to skip.

*Offer excludes Real Estate Secured loans, Home Equity Line of Credit loans, Open End Loans (credit card payments can be skipped), Auto Advantage and Overdraft Protection loans. Interest will continue to accrue on the outstanding balance of the loan until it is paid in full. Member will continue to be responsible for the entire outstanding principal and interest on the loan, and will be responsible for making the monthly payments after the original maturity date until all principal and interest is paid in full. To qualify for the Skip-a-Pay program, the loan must be opened at least 6 months, current and in good standing, and not have received any payment extensions in the previous 12 months. Some restrictions may apply and all requests are subject to final approval by NUFCU.
HELOC Advances
Withdraw as little as $500, up to your available credit limit. As you repay your outstanding balance, you can borrow against it again if needed.
HELOC Convenience Checks
At your request we will provide you with HELOC convenience checks that you can write to access your line of credit. We have no additional fees or interest rates when you use these checks. Click here to request checks.
Call or Stop By
We can advance funds from your HELOC to your checking/or savings account or disburse the funds to you at any of our offices.
Credit Card Cash Advances
Use a convenient Visa check to pay off other cards and expenses with your Visa line of credit. Check must be written for a minimum $100.
You can also use Online Banking or the Mobile App to transfer funds from your credit card to your checking or savings account to use however you need.

Quickly and securely make a payment to your NUFCU loan or credit card from another financial institution.
Make A Payment From Another Financial Institution
You can make one-time payments or set up recurring payments from another financial institution. When you click on the button above you will be taken to a secure site to set up an express pay or you can register and set up a username and password for future payments. Registering makes it easier the next time you need to make a payment. Once you click either "Express Pay" or "Register" you will just need to follow the steps as outlined. You can use a checking, savings or debit card to make your electronic payment. Remember you are not able to use a credit card to pay on a loan.
