We are pleased to announce the addition of Diego Sterkel as the newest Member Service Officer at our Lincoln Main branch. In his role, Sterkel will assist members with consumer lending, home equity loans, home equity lines of credit, and a variety of other branch services.
Born in Lincoln and raised in Sterling, Neb., Sterkel is a December 2024 graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in Japanese. He brings valuable industry experience from his previous work at another Lincoln financial institution, as well as time spent with FISERV, further strengthening the credit union’s commitment to knowledgeable and member-focused service.
Outside of work, Sterkel enjoys spending time with his rescue cat, Neko.
